Earth’s ecosystems are constantly changing with species mixing and migrating. But since humans have joined this game, things have become worse. We polluted the environment and started to kill native animals. But those are still not the worst things we have done. The worst thing we have done is shipping other animals and plants to other locations. A species that harms the environment and other species living in that environment are called invasive species. Invasive species can kill and outcompete the other native species which would be bad for the environment. Examples of invasive species include the cane toad, fire ants, army ants, etc. They can destroy or change multiple ecosystems. They can outcompete apex predators or any other native predators. These species first grow in their native habitat which is native to them. But due to human activities, those species get transported by ships and planes to other jungles and forests, where they become invasive. Then, they start killing the native animals. And as the invasive species involves it develops features to protect itself from other native predators. Then once they feature, they make native predators and herbivores and omnivores go extinct. They also totally change the food chain. So, in short, we need to stop shipping other animals to different places. But this is not easy. Sometimes we bring them intentionally and sometimes unintentionally. We need to stop doing this. The first thing we can do to stop invasive is to have enough knowledge so we can stop them. We can spray pesticides and animal poison around the ship or plane so any insect traveling will die and won’t become invasive. Thirdly, we shouldn’t ship or release exotic pets in the wild. There can be dangers even if the invasive species don’t survive, like spreading diseases.

  1. I really enjoy this design you have got going on on your web site. What is the name of the template by the way? I was thinking of using this style for the blog I am going to build for my class project. I also invite you to visit my website 🙂

  2. naturally like your web site however you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come again again.
