Planes and jets are very important because they transport people and goods. This is very important, this is why we use a lot of planes. But there is a huge problem with planes. They emit a lot of pollution and harm the environment. It releases gases into the atmosphere and that gas traps heat, contributing to global warming. And global warming is a real disaster. So, replacing jet and airplane fuel is going to be a necessity. But it’s going to be very hard. First of all, our planes are designed to fly with fuel. This means we have to change the design of our planes for them to work with the energy source we want them to. But you might be thinking about solar, wind, and hydro. Well, using these sources of energy might not be a good idea. The sun doesn’t always shine, the wind doesn’t always blow and hydro is similar. We could use hydro but then we have to manufacture our planes, I mean totally. And we cannot do that in the present. And these energy sources cost a lot of money and fuel is cheaper so countries will choose fuel. The best idea, for now, is to use synthetic jet and airplane fuel. It is cheap and we don’t have to design our planes in a new way and doesn’t emit pollution. For now, we need to use synthetic airplanes and jet fuel until our technology advances and we have other alternatives.
