Coal is just awesome. It doesn’t leak like other fuels so you don’t have to worry about containing it. You can also get tons of energy by burning coal. In some coal mines, there is enough energy to last humanity for thousands of years. We have used coal to cook and warm ourselves, coal has also led to the industrial revolution. Coal has made our lives much easier and more comfortable. But all the time coal has been awesome, it has also been the worst. Coal is full of toxic gases that can kill animals and hurt the environment. Coal can pollute our water, soil, and air. This means we will not have clean drinking water. Coal also kills thousands of people every year. Especially old people and babies. A king in ancient London decided to ban coal. They didn’t know that coal was harmful, they just disliked the smell. But Londoners had chopped down a lot of trees that could have been used as an energy source and coal came back. But now in the present, we are starting to learn that using coal is a terrible idea. If we must use coal, we can use AI to mine them and somehow prevent it from getting into the environment. Plus, we won’t even need coal in the future because we have alternatives like solar, wind, and hydro. It is going to be hard to replace the energy source that led to the modern world. Slowly but surely, we will stop using coal once and for all. All the hard work will be worth it.
