Horse buggie rides were mostly used as means of transportation during the early 19th century. A horse would pull a giant cart behind it where people would sit. It was essential at that time so that people could get around places and goods could be exported and imported. But this already in the early times led to a lot of animal abuse. Horses were hit by this rope by a man to make sure the horse “stay in control”. The horses couldn’t even stop for even one minute. They need to take a rest! But they didn’t give a damm. They had to pull the weight of the cart and the people, which sometimes happened in hot summers or freezing winters. But then it was a necessity but that’s no excuse for doing all this abuse.

And now when it’s not required it’s still happening.  Now it has become worse and people do it for entertainment, no buggie rides are used for actual transportation. We are in 2022, not in 1901 or something like that!  Now some horses are forced to wear fancy weird things to attract more people who want to ride. We have cars, trains, airplanes, etc. to get around. They are not even used for transportation. But people don’t see the suffering of the horses. Think how much the horse is suffering while trying to pull the weight of the cart and your weight. Sometimes there are 2 horses but sometimes there is just 1 to do all that. And their legs might pain but they are forced to go on. Think about that please before you get on a buggie ride for your entertainment or your family’s.

It is our responsibility to make sure no animal has to suffer so much for the fashion and entertainment of people. These horses have a very limited life which is boring and abusive. We, humans, cannot even imagine that for 1 day! Imagine what they feel every day. It’s the most horrible thing, life is full of nothing but abuse for these horses. We need to change this by completely banning horse buggie rides in all the nations around the world. It’s an emergency, let’s not let a horse suffer in silence and save hundreds of innocent lives!
